We recently did some family pictures. We haven't don't a while group photo in a while and I took advantage of my youngest being 6 months old. I also did 6 month pictures of him. When he was 3 months, we did pictures as well and I also did some of my 5 year old. They grow way too fast. Walmart had been a great place to go because of their 8 dollar deals. Who didn't love all those prints for just 8 bucks. Well they recently closed. I was pregnant with Gavin, my youngest, and wanted newborn pictures. I was shocked at how much professional photographers were charging for a session and that didn't include prints, just the CD. It was at least $100. I started doing my brother's graduation photos a few years ago and those turned out pretty good, so I figured, how hard could it be to take my son's pictures as well. There are times I now wonder who is more difficult, my brothers or my kids. We also did all our own wedding photos, but I will share all our wedding secrets later.
We do not have a fancy set up at all. It is just a king size bed sheet and a camera on a tripod, or outside in the natural surroundings.

| Our backdrop bed sheet and wood floor. Sometimes we carry the sheet all the way through as the flooring too. |
We bought a camera Black Friday last year at Walmart for around $140 and it has been the best thing ever. They have leaked their Black Friday ad already and I believe I saw the same camera on sale again this year for around the same price. It is a Fujifilm FinePix 14 MP Camera. I love this camera and it has been a lifesaver. It takes amazing photos and there are numerous free photo editing software programs available on the internet. These are some of our final pictures.
